KCCG Would Like To Welcome Our New Director of Development & Marketing, Madeline Marak!

Madeline-Marak

KCCG would like to introduce our new Director of Development & Marketing, Madeline Marak!

Madeline was hired at the beginning of 2024 to fill the position after the previous DoDM, Jennifer Meyer, moved into the Executive Director role. Madeline will lead the Development team to reach new fundraising goals for 2024 and we're excited to have her on the KCCG team!

Meet Madeline

Hi, I’m Madeline. I came to Kansas City only 2 years ago with my partner, Josh, to escape the heat of my home town of Shreveport, Louisiana and live in a thriving, artsy, foody city.

I have explored different career paths as an artist with a MFU (WashU in St. Louis) and BFA (Tulane in New Orleans) focused in painting. I have taught community college, worked in after school programs, been an Executive Director for a small arts non-profit in Ruston, LA, and worked at Hallmark's Kaleidoscope.

I was drawn to KCCG and its mission by way of my involvement with non-profit organizations as an artist/arts administrator and as a long-time volunteer at my hometown food bank in Louisiana. I am excited to be joining KCCG alongside a great team of staff, volunteers, and gardeners that give back to the community every day!

Important Upcoming Dates
