The final recipe in our One Bite Lesson Series is Rad Rabbit Wraps.  As you can see in the directions below, this recipe allows students to use their imaginations while harvesting and encourages them to pretend they are rabbits while they forage the garden for veggies. In addition to harvesting veggies, students will also have fun making the Garden Pesto and Homemade Ranch that you’ll see highlighted in our recipe video!

Like many of our recipes, I love the flexibility that this one allows. You can make so many different kinds of Rad Rabbit Wraps by simply changing the types of veggies you add and this will depend on what is growing in your garden. The veggies in your garden change from season to season and even look different in the same season. For example, the veggies you harvest from your early spring garden might include radishes, carrot seedlings, baby kale leaves and green onions, while later in spring, you could have carrot roots, beets, and even use the full grown kale leaves as your wrap!
