Guide To Fall Gardening

Gardening doesn’t end with tomatoes and zucchini. You can plant cool season vegetables in July and August for a long and delicious fall garden harvest in September, October and November!

KCCG has all the resources you need to get your fall garden started. Listed below are all the seed and plant varieties we offer that you can grow in the fall.

Fall Garden Plants

KCCG Members can purchase transplants at our Swope Park location beginning July 21st. Plants include broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, collards and kale. Lettuce will be available beginning August 22nd.

Member Pricing
Green Card = $0.50 per 3-pack
Yellow Card = $1.00 per 3-pack
Blue Card = $1.50 per 3-pack

Fall Garden Seeds

KCCG Members can purchase seeds now (see list below) at our Swope Park location for membership prices.

If you are not a member, you can purchase seeds at non-member pricing from our online seed store, www.beanstalkseeds.com.

If you haven't planted any of the varieties listed above, check out our vegetable information sheets on our website and don't miss our free virtual workshop on Fall Gardening on July 15th at noon.

To attend the virtual workshop, register here and you will receive a Zoom link prior to the workshop.
