We truly appreciate your incredible generosity. Together, you have helped to raise more than $168,000 that will help get the 2025 gardening season off to a great start!

Your gifts will help to underwrite the cost of plants, seeds, gardening supplies and education, empowering low-income families to put healthy foods on their tables.

With your contributions, you are helping us to grow a more equitable and just food system in Kansas City. Whether you participated in the event, donated, volunteered, or spread the word, your involvement has been invaluable.

We have one last request of you, before we call this year’s event a wrap:

We have raised over $10,000 toward our $15,000 Fund-A-Need project goal, and we’d love your help to push us over the finish line!

This year we’re raising funds to upgrade our multi-purpose room – a simple space that does a lot of heavy lifting for KCCG. Each year it hosts dozens of educational workshops and community meetings.

It’s also the space where volunteers gather to assemble 50,000 seed packs, plant and germinate 160,000 greenhouse seedings, and sort and bundle other plant materials. These “dirty jobs” involve a LOT of water and soil.

With our greenhouse production growing each year, the carpet that’s in this space just can’t keep up. It’s time to replace it with flooring that can be easily cleaned as we flip the space from seeding days to workshop evenings.

Would you make a gift to us to transform this hard-working space so it can keep pace and continue to support our ever-growing network of gardens and gardeners? With your help we can complete this project this winter, so the space is ready for the spring season!
