The Beanstalk Children’s Garden staff have been working long hours cleaning out and planting each section of the Beanstalk getting it ready for their official opening day on June 1st.
Every year I am in awe of the garden’s transformation from a sparse and meticulously planted garden into a lush, overflowing beautiful oasis of fruits and vegetables, specialty plants and herbs.
The garden provides a full sensory experience for both young and old to see, touch, smell, and taste plants growing in all of its six gardens: The Vegetable Garden, The Fruit Garden, The Herb Garden, The Seed and Grain Garden, The Curiosity Garden, and The Water Garden.
Come experience the Beanstalk Children’s Garden and all its beauty this June – October.
It is a fantastic field trip destination, but you’ll want to book your group tour now as slots fill up fast! The tours last about 2 hours and cost $2/person.
The Beanstalk also makes a wonderful family outing and is open to the public for self-guided tours at no charge.
