I’ve talked with many of our garden coordinators over the past few weeks and as we gear up for spring, the sentiment seems to be the same – Yay! It’s garden planning season! And they are exactly right! Spring is on her way and it’s almost time to plant those cool season crops!
Making a planting plan is an important step in gardening that helps you map out which plants will grow where and ensures that you’re ordering the correct quantity for the space you’re growing in. A planting plan is also a great way to keep track of what was growing in previous seasons and can inform your decision about what crops you’ll choose for this season.

Still feeling unsure about what to order or how many broccoli plants fit in your raised bed? Fear not! This spring we are offering zoom office hours the week of March 1st – 5th to assist you in planning out your garden. Email your SYG coordinator to set up a time and get more details!
