It’s fall ya’ll! All that hard work you put into planting, watering, weeding, mulching and warding off pests can now be rewarded with eating the produce you’ve grown.
Celebrating your harvest can be something as simple as a One Bite Lesson where students make their own sample size portion of a quick and easy recipe right out in the garden.
Or something a little more involved, like any number of our garden recipes.
And finally, partying with your harvest can look like harvesting produce with students to send home for families to enjoy.
Whichever you decide, be sure to reference our new Harvest Party Activity sheet which explains each option in more detail.
If baked goods are more your speed, try a few of these garden recipes in our blog post Veggie Loaded Treats Inspired by Fall Harvest.
Don’t forget to send any Harvest Party photos to your SYG coordinator! Happy Harvesting!
